This will depend on what price action strategy you currently use and what you are looking to accomplish at the moment. 

For example, the lower time frames (5min and 3min) can be very useful for scalpers, and anyone looking for precision entries. Where as the higher time frames(Daily and 4H) are often used to see where the action is at from a longer term perspective. 

The middle time frames(1hr and 15min) can have mixed uses.  Some higher time frame traders can still use those for precision entries, where as some intra traders can use these timeframes to find out what is hot that day and where they should put their focus.

No, Market Beats is not meant to be used on its own to pick pairs to trade each day. 

A solid trading strategy is still required to trade the market’s effectively. 

Market Beats can then be used to enhance that strategy and give you an added edge in the markets.

Yes, Market Beats will work with any outside trading strategy you decide to use. 

Whether you are a range trader, trend trader or like to counter trend the market, knowing what is moving and active each day is still very important as you need that activity for your trade to perform well.  

Market Beats will automatically give you that insight so you have an edge in the market each day.

Currently Market Beats measures which currencies have been the most active at any given time when the Forex market is open.

Now, since the Forex market is closed on the weekend, there will not be any action or activity to monitor at that time.  This is why you will not get any alerts on the weekend.

No worries though, once Sydney opens up again on Monday morning, Market Beats will be there measuring the pulse of the market once again.

Currently Market Beats is only available for MacOS (desktop and laptop). 

However, we are looking into other platforms as well (iOS, Android, Windows) and will let you know when it is available on those devices.
